The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) performs routine laboratory testing across multiple laboratory sections to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role is responsible for specimen handling, test performance, quality control, and timely reporting of results in compliance with laboratory protocols, regulatory standards, and safety requirements. The MLT maintains strict confidentiality of protected health information, ensures proper use of laboratory instruments, and adheres to infection control and bloodborne pathogen safety guidelines.
