Intern- Data Analytics (Non-OSU Student Assistant)Department:Veterinary Medicine | College Administration-JM - The Protect Ohio program at the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine seeks a motivated Data Analyst Intern this summer to analyze student performance, program outcomes, alumni surveys, and other data sources to drive evidence-based curriculum improvements and shape the training of future veterinarians. Key Responsibilities:Clean, organize, and analyze datasets related to student assessments and Protect Ohio initiatives, alumni surveys and various other data projects. Create data visualizations and dashboards (Tableau, Power. BI, or R/ Python) for faculty review. Identify trends that help optimize educational strategies. Project Management & Documentation: Documents and communicates all processes, workflows, and findings with direct supervisor. Will need to complete institutional data policy training Term: Summer 2026 Only Schedule: 30-40 hours per week (8–10 week duration)Working Conditions:The position is sedentary, requiring extended periods of computer use and data review. Additional Information:Minimum Qualifications:Pursuing an undergraduate degree Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related program. Desired Qualifications:Candidates should be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related program. Experience with data analysis and visualization using tools such as Excel, R, Power BI, Tableau, or similar software is required. Experience with data modeling using SQL, Power BI, and Power Query is preferred. Location:Veterinary Medicine Academic (0136)Position Type:Temporary (Fixed Term)Scheduled Hours:40 Shift:First Shift.
