Acts as a resource for the Patient Access Department and patient access supervisor. Assist with hiring. Responsible for training new staff, auditing charts, and process/policy implementation. Assist Facility. Administrator at their request. Courteously and Professionally greet patients. Obtain accurate demographic insurance information. Correctly code and verify insurance coverage. Collect estimated patient responsibility or screen patient for assistance programs. Answer all incoming calls to the facility. Provide assistance to patients presenting or calling with billing questions. Process medical records requests. - Rotating Weeks - Week One: Sun, Tue, Wed, Th, Fri. Week Two: Mon, Tue, We, Th, Sat. Job Requirements. Required 1 year of recent medical office, hospital registration, or banking experience 2 years of customer service experience. Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) Preferred. Associates Degrfee or a combination of education and job-related experience 1 year of management, supervisor, or lead experience. Where You'll Work.
