Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.The Navigation engineering organization is a growing business area developing the next generation of advanced military navigation systems. The team is seeking a summer intern to help as a lab assistant to support our GPS team. The applicant should possess strong collaboration and communication skills, as close integration with other team members is necessary. With a mentors help, the candidate will be need to learn the following tasks:Build enginnering cables.Run equipment related to measuring/cutting cables.Use a variety of hand tools.Required Education, Experience, & Skills Must be graduated from high school or will complete your Freshman year prior to Summer 2026.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $39292 - $53055Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20 hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
