Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.39 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM - Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM - Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor screening processes, and report security-related concerns. Assist with de-escalation support, direction-giving, and general assistance for people on site while following Allied Universal standards and location protocols. Minimum Requirements:Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must meet hospital vaccine requirements. Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
