The Superintendent will be responsible for:Supervising all on-site activities for interior construction projects in Downtown Boston. Coordinating and managing subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project completion. Monitoring project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and financial goals. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment. Conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications. Communicating effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure smooth project execution. Maintaining accurate project documentation and reports. Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during construction to minimize delays and costs. . The Successful Applicant. The right candidate has the following qualifications:10 years of experience as a Superintendent. Must have Downtown Boston interiors project background. Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in construction. Strong understanding of construction processes and best practices in the business services industry. Self motivated, able to work independently as well as alongside a team. Ability to strategize and manage the client's exposure to Boston markets. Able to be successful in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects & teams effectively. Ability to work under tight time lines to hit project deadlines. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Experience with Excel, Planswift, Procore, On Screen, and/or Bluebeam. Excellent communication and leadership skills. MA CSL, OSHA certification.
