Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Summer Graduate Intern for the Student Orientation and Transition Programs. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Supports 70 undergraduate student leaders. Assists with the implementation of presentations, panels, and session logistics. Participates in regular meetings, and other collaborative efforts within both the office and the larger university landscape. Assists with daily office communications for summer orientation questions via email, phone, and social media. Contributes to the overall success of Student Orientation and Transition Programs. FLSA Nonexempt Salary Details $18.50/hourly Offer Information The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. Certifications/ Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated experience in Student Affairs, public speaking and communication, and teamwork skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and a willingness to learn new and emerging technologies, including Mac OS and others. Preferred Qualifications Enrollment in a graduate school Master’s Degree program preferred.
