The Department of Medicine is seeking a Clinical Operations Coordinator to provide support at the Community based practices located at Sugar Land, Vintage Park and The Woodlands. The Practice Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support for community-based academic practices across multiple locations. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator will support faculty, leadership, and clinical operations, and must demonstrate strong technical proficiency, including advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams. Job Duties Coordinates and supports day-to-day operations of community-based practices located in Sugar Land, Vintage Park, and The Woodlands. Manages and processes clinical supply orders and related operational transactions in accordance with institutional procedures. Provides complex calendar management and scheduling support for leadership and faculty, including coordination of meetings across multiple sites. Supports faculty and staff recruitment activities, including interview coordination, candidate communication, and onboarding processes. Provides administrative support to Medical Directors and faculty, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks and initiatives. Maintains and updates practice websites; assist in the development and distribution of marketing materials and communications. Coordinates and supports events, outreach activities, and promotional initiatives aligned with institutional goals. Utilizes Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools to facilitate communication, document sharing, and virtual meetings. Provides general administrative and operational support, ensuring efficient workflow across all locations. Performs other duties as assigned in support of departmental and institutional objectives. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Two years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams. Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Work Authorization Requirement: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
