Must be familiar with menu, preparation of drinks and food, and prices. Uses suggestive selling techniques. Takes guest's order and accurately inputs it into the computer/register. Explains the ingredients in the various beverages. Carries on a friendly conversation with the guests as coffee is prepared. Prepares for the next shift by filling the supplies and cleaning and sanitizing the workstation and equipment. Works as a Barista making coffee, blended beverages, etc. Works the cash register and maintains an accurate bank. Maintains cleanliness of designated areas.
