First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00 am to 03:30 pm)Operate one or more types of grinding and cutting equipment. Remove excess metal and surface imperfections from sand castings. Eliminate fins, burrs, parting lines, flashing, gates, and risers. Ensure finished parts meet customer specifications. Maintain required quality standards and consistency in production. Manufacturing Grinding Technician Qualifications:Previous experience in grinding, metal finishing, or manufacturing preferred. Ability to operate grinding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently. Basic understanding of casting processes and metal removal techniques. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as needed Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE - Work in a hot environment.
