We are seeking a Product Design Engineer with expertise in high-power connectors to join our R&D team. In this role, you will responsible for the design, development, and optimization of next-generation high-power connector solutions for industrial and commercial applications. Your work will be instrumental in delivering high-performance, reliable, and cost-effective products that meet the evolving needs of our global clients. Essential Responsibilities Design and Development: Develop innovative high-power connector products, focusing on electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance optimization. Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. Simulation and Analysis: Perform 3 D modeling, finite element analysis (FEA), and other simulations to evaluate design performance under various conditions. Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create prototypes, conduct rigorous testing, and validate designs. Customer Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure that designs align with their expectations. Innovation and Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in product design and manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Compliance and Standards: Ensure product designs adhere to relevant industry standards, including IEC, UL, and ISO guidelines. Documentation: Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure seamless communication across teams and stakeholders. Position Requirements Seeking 5 years or more experience in high power / high voltage /heavy duty connector design or development. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Technical Expertise:Strong knowledge of high-power connectors and their applications. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, Pro-Eto, or Solid. Works) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS). Familiarity with thermal management, material science, and high-power electrical systems. Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to address complex engineering challenges with innovative solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision, quality, and meeting deadlines. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., IEC, UL, ISO or & TS 16949). Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as 3 D printing, injection molding, die casting, and CNC machining.
