The Back-Up Supply Room Attendant provides supply room coverage and light housekeeping duties including cleaning injector needles and tools. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Hands out supplies and ensure adequate stock to meet facility needs. Track inventory and supply distribution. Cleans injector needles in and tools. Cleans laundry daily. Pickup and clean tables/counters in lunchrooms, locker rooms, and meeting rooms daily. Cleans sinks and toilets in restrooms. Mop floors in misc. office areas. Shovel snow & salt walkways during winter months. Perform other duties as assigned- i.e. break coverage, check supplies, collect knives, etc. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Flexibility of working hours based on daily needs of the department. May be asked to rotate to positions between departments or positions that require data collecting and record keeping. EXPECTATIONS – For all Pilgrim’s Team Members. Trains others with the skills and knowledge gained from position. Observes all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, co-workers, and leadership teams. Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practices and enforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout the organization. Participates in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies such as Six Sigma. Follow all company animal welfare guidelines. Other duties as directed. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:Ability to comprehend simple instructions. Ability to apply common sense. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day. Ability to multitask and work quickly. Must have good communication skills. High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Intermediate Analytical skills preferred. Desire for continuous improvement preferred.
