RESUME REQUIRED 1st shift – Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PMJG 2 PCP 4 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Thorough training in advanced machining principles and operations involved in multi-axis machining and setups. Have the ability to use CAD/ CAM software to design parts and develop machine programs for milling and turning operations. Have the ability to use all hand and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, travel dials, etc.)Have ability to run machine tools in the shop (CNC mills, lathes, grinders, torches, welders, heat treat, saws). Ability to work with all technicians, machine designers, engineers on plant wide projects, with a proven strength in walk-ins and hot jobs. Fabricate parts for production equipment. Fabricate and repair parts for prototype equipment components and assistance with assembly of machinery as needed. Assist engineers in solving problems. Recommend and make modifications as necessary. Install parts on production equipment as requested. Assist in the troubleshooting of production equipment as needed. May be required to order materials and schedule tool room work for others as necessary. Other duties as required to support the needs of the business. DELIVERABLES - Fabrication support for facility maintenance and tool crib. SUPERVISION - Does not have direct reports. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS - Minimum Education:This position has the following educational requirements:Required. H. S, Diploma/ GED - Preferred Associates Degree in Tool and Die. Minimum Experience:3 years’ experience in the Tool & Die field. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities (KSA’s): Basic or Simple KSA - Troubleshooting. Equipment repair. Teamwork. Written/oral communication. Proficient/ Working KSA - Blueprint reading. Machinery. Mechanical aptitude. Why Join Us?
