P&L & Business Strategy. Own full P&L accountability for the North America Chromebook business, including revenue, margin, and unit targets. Define and execute the multi-year strategic roadmap aligned with HP’s global Chrome OS strategy. Lead end-to-end 4 P planning: product portfolio, pricing architecture, channel placement, and promotional strategy. Develop category business plans and growth strategies that drive profitability growth. Sales & Channel Execution. Collaborate tightly with North America sales executives and leadership to translate category strategy into actionable sales plans. Manage end-to-end sell-in and sell-out efforts across partners, resellers, and distributors. Define KPIs and sales performance; identify gaps and execute corrective action plans with urgency. Product & Market Leadership. Partner with marketing and product development teams to secure the right product mix for North America. Leverage market research, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to inform product and go-to-market decisions. Lead external vendor and technology partner engagements within the Chrome OS ecosystem (Google, OD - Ms, component suppliers). Champion opportunities in the education vertical, where Chromebook is a critical platform for HP’s growth. Cross-Functional Leadership. Represent the Chromebook business at a senior level with internal stakeholders, sales leadership, and external partners. Oversee functional responsibilities including market analysis, marketing engagement, and demand generation. Drive process and policy improvements informed by data, customer insights, and market trends. Education & Experience. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).8 years of progressive experience in category management, product management, or P&L leadership, preferably in PC/hardware, consumer electronics, or technology. Proven track record managing a large-scale P&L ($500 M ) with direct accountability for revenue and margin outcomes. Deep experience in channel and partner management, including sell-in/sell-out execution with distributors and resellers. Strong understanding of the Chrome OS / Chromebook ecosystem and the education technology market is a significant plus. Knowledge & Skills. P&L management and financial acumen at scale. Agile methodology and cross-functional project management. Impact & Scope. This role has a direct impact on one of HP’s most strategic product lines. The Chromebook Category Business Manager leads large, cross-divisional initiatives spanning product, sales, marketing, and finance. Decisions made in this role influence HP’s competitive position in the North America PC market and its ability to capture growth in the education segment. The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $147,300 to $231,300 USD annually with an 80%/20% (salary/incentive) mix.
