The Maintenance Electro-Mechanical Technician (EMT) is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, systems, and machinery that integrate electrical and mechanical components. The role requires a combination of electrical and mechanical skills to ensure the efficient operation of machinery and equipment across various industries, such as manufacturing, automation, and robotics. Primary Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operation and reduce downtime. Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure it meets industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements. Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, electrical equipment, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems or equipment, including identifying faulty components and replacing them. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues with both electrical and mechanical systems. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used. Document all inspections, repairs, and modifications to systems and equipment. Ensure production efficiencies are met by performing preventative maintenance tasks. Aid in coordinating work performed by outside vendors to overhaul production equipment. Other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements Skills Required:Certification in an area relevant to maintenance is preferred (i.e., electrician)Previous experience in maintenance that includes inspecting and testing equipment or building systems. Excellent time management skills and adept at coordinating and following multiple deadlines. Good attention to detail and the ability to follow specific, technical specifications and instructions. Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments, and clearly communicate technical information, issues, and solutions. Must be able to work well in a team environment and contribute to achieving common goal. Preferred Qualifications:Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Robotics, or Industrial Maintenance 3 years in manufacturing, preferably food or beverage. Experience using Allen-Bradley PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives (VF - Ds), sensors, and servo motors. Mechanical Systems: Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, compressors, and conveyors. Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP), and OSHA safety protocols. Physical & Environmental Demands:Based on an 8-hour workday: Never= 0 hours, Rarely= 0-2 hours, Occasionally= 2-4 hours, Frequently= 4-6 hours, Continuously= 6-8 hours:Sit: Occasionally, Stand: Continuously, Walk: Frequently, Bend: Rarely, Squat: Rarely, Kneel: Rarely, Crawl: Rarely, Climb: Rarely, Reach: Frequently, Grasp: Continuously, Push/ Pull: Frequently, Twist/ Turn: Occasionally. Corrected vision must include: - 20/20 vision - Normal distinguishing of colors - Normal depth perception - Close vision - Distance vision - Color vision - Peripheral vision. Corrected hearing skills must include: - Normal frequency sensitivity - Normal frequency selection. Speaking skills must include being understandable when speaking: - In person - In writing. Other:Ability to frequently lift and move objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally move objects up to 50 pounds from ground level, move approximately 10 feet, and perform this at least 5 times in succession without danger or injury. Work Environment:This job operates in a food manufacturing environment. This role frequently uses hand tools such as various pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and power tools.#Production
