As a Telemetry Technician you will: Telemetry Technicians continually monitors patients on telemetry by interpreting and recording ECG rhythms and reporting pertinent changes to appropriate personnel. While in this Telemetry Technician role you will be responsible for accuracy of reports and error reconciliation. You will troubleshoot equipment problems and communicates needs to leader. Telemetry Technician assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. Job Requirements. In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: One year of acute care experience preferred. Telemetry experience preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Good verbal and written skills. Basic clerical, computer data entry and math skills. High School Diploma or GED required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for HealthCare Providers certification required from American Heart Association required. Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly)Where You'll Work.
