This position supports the Benefits Division. This is an administrative position and will process benefit status changes, manage email and call center, perform monthly audits and process vendor discrepancy reports as well as other duties as assigned. HR information systems knowledge and attention to detail are critical for this position. Essential Duties. Providing customer service. Serve as liaison between retirees and vendors to process enrollments and resolve enrollment and eligibility issues. Keying Retirement Actions. Providing accurate information regarding retirement benefits and eligibility Call Center. ACA compliance. Process Medicare Age In, Dependent Age Out, Life Status Changes Calculating benefits payments and refunds payable to retirees. Auditing benefits billing accounts. Reconciling premium deductions. Performing ad hoc analysis as assigned. Administrative duties such as entering actions and benefit changes into the ERP system. Preparing written correspondence responding to employee and retiree inquiries. Assisting with facilitation and coordination of retirement, wellness, and benefits events. Other Job Requirements/ Information. Other duties as assigned. Grade. The grade for this position is B 251. Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program. Minimum Qualifications. High School Diploma, or G.E.D., AND - Two to three years of specialized experience in both human resources and Benefits areas. Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered. Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualifications.
