Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities. Ensure individual needs of participants are met within program guidelines. Utilize sound judgment and discretionary skills in accordance with the Gateway Region YMCA policies. Maintain positive relationships with many diverse people including staff, parents, volunteers and program site administration and demonstrate strong public relation skills. Ensure YMCA policies and procedures are followed at all times. Maintain an environment that ensures participants safety and well-being. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities. Works with director to determine current needs for program. Ensure implementation of policies and procedures. Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions. Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda. . Ensure ADA compliance with federal, state, local and YMCA regulations. Ensure individual needs of the participants are met and supported while remaining within the approved program parameters. Implement modifications and adaptations to approved goals as needed. Ensure appropriate programming/support is provided in a 1:1 client ratio. Accurate, timely completion of paperwork required by funders and YMCA - Provide opportunities to build self-help and independent skills. Maintain confidentiality and accurately prepare and provide proper records, documentation and files. Communicate professionally and accurately with YMCA staff, participants and families. Complete and maintain all required certifications.
