Encinal Canyon Rd., Malibu, CA 90265 The Los Angeles County Office of Education and the Juvenile Court Schools seek well-qualified individuals to serve as dynamic, creative, and team-oriented Single (Math, English, Science, and Social Studies) or Multiple Subject Teachers. Under the supervision and direction of the school principal, the juvenile court schoolteacher provides an educational program for students. The ideal candidate will work to best prepare At-Promise students and provide opportunities for educational success, including but not limited to credit recovery, high school diploma, trade, career readiness, or college. The selected teacher/s will have skills and experience that engage a diverse student population while embedding many skills beyond the content area. Students at the Juvenile Court Schools are challenged to think globally and self-reflect while nurturing communication, presentation, and dynamic group skills. Beyond being an expert in a subject matter, the ideal teacher candidate should effectively utilize various teaching and assessment strategies. Requirements / Qualifications LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE: - Must possess and maintain a Clear California Teaching Credential authorizing basic academic service i.e., Multiple Subjects or Single Subjects (Math, English, Science, and Social Studies) Credential. - Must have CLAD or BCLAD. - Must attach credentials with document number.
