Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Certification (NBSTSA) or if a new graduate, must supply exam date prior to start of employment. Certification must be obtained within six months of hire and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire. Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as on O. R. Technician/ Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
