The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality instruction to students in assigned courses, supporting the academic mission of the institution. Adjunct faculty foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment, deliver curriculum effectively, assess student progress, and contribute to student success by bringing professional expertise, scholarship, and real-world application into the classroom. This role exists to advance student learning, promote academic excellence, and uphold the values and standards of the university. The academic year is structured into three teaching sessions: one full-semester session and two eight-week sessions (A & B). Undergraduate courses are generally three credits, while graduate courses are generally four credits. Compensation for in-person and hybrid courses is determined by academic credential: $850 per credit hour for instructors with a master's degree and $1,000 per credit hour for instructors with a doctorate. Online undergraduate and graduate courses are compensated on a prorated scale based on enrollment. Below is our academic structure and the areas an adjunct could teach in. A. in business or related field. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member. Committed to biblical integration in and out of the classroom. Must have sensitivity and ability to successfully interact with diverse populations.
