Updating clinical notes in electronic medical systems Completing phone triage Casting and bracing Performing routine office procedures Providing patient education Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of EMR (Epic) Ability to triage patient telephone calls. Gather pertinent facts; be as accurate and concise as possible to assess patient health status and act as liaison between patient and provider. Ability to clearly and effectively educate patients, families and staff regarding the full scope of patient care needs related to the care of patients with orthopedic problems. Communicate effectively and clearly. Respond well to questions with patients, physicians/ mid-level providers and co-workers. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, athletic training, nursing or a college degree in a related field EMTs will need Emergency Medical Technician certification AT - Cs will need to be board certified as Athletic Trainer New graduates are welcome Active & Current Driver’s license/ Clean driving record Travel to other OC locations may be required.
