When we do everything in service of our patients and caregivers, no detail gets ignored. As a Painter, you will apply paint, stains and other service treatments to structural surfaces and property. A caregiver in this position works Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 a.m. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Apply protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment and property. Prepare surfaces by washing, taping, mudding, patching, scraping, sanding, torching and/or smoothing prior to applying finishes. Maintain existing paint surfaces by matching/tinting appropriate paint products. Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe condition and properly store, clean and dispose of all materials, supplies equipment and waste. Work at other Cleveland Clinic locations occasionally and as needed. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: High school diploma or GED - Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: One year of experience painting in a healthcare environment. Physical Requirements:Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. Ability to be mobile for extended periods of time. Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
