As a Security Officer - Access Screening in Highlands Ranch, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. The Security Officer - Access Screening will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a professional, welcoming environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Time. Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM - Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM - Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM - Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM - Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document access activity in support of security-related protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access. Support security-related operations within a financial services location by assisting with lobby traffic flow, directing visitors, and maintaining clear communication during routine and escalated events. Minimum Requirements:Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
