Protect patients, visitors, employees and property across our medical and academic campuses, maintaining access control in assigned areas and responding to emergency situations. Help maintain lawful environment for lifesaving care. The following shifts are available:Saturday and Sunday 8 x 4 - Day Shift. Sunday and Monday 8 x 4 - Day Shift. Tuesday and Wednesday 8 x 4 - Day Shift. Wednesday and Thursday 8 x 4 - Day Shift. Tuesday and Wednesday 4 x 12 - Evening Shift. Wednesday and Thursday 4 x 12 - Evening Shift. Wednesday and Thursday 12 x 8 - Night Shift. Preferred Criteria. Bachelors degree, at least two years of collegiate coursework in criminal justice or a related field, or previous military experience. Prior security experience. Required Criteria Current NYS security guard license. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 90 days of starting in role, and continued BCLS certification required every two years.
