The Finance Intern will support key financial processes across Program Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and Rate Management. This role provides handson exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, rate development, and financial reporting. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop foundational skills in corporate finance, strengthen analytical capabilities, and gain experience working with crossfunctional business teams in a fast=paced environment. Analyze financial data Assist in preparing management reports Support month-end close activities Contribute to program or project financial tracking. Qualifications and Education Requirements Student from local university or college who desires to gain technical knowledge and experience in Finance and/or Accounting. Flexible work schedule Good communication skills Detail oriented Ability to handle multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Preferred Skills Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, and basic data analysis Familiarity with financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) Basic understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis Experience with financial modeling or willingness to learn Comfort with large data sets and financial systems/tools Understanding of GAAP principles (for accounting-related roles) Security Responsibilities Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources. Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance. Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Work Environment Duties performed in an office environment and manufacturing facility. Must be able to work overtime on and off-shifts as required. The employee is on call 24 x 7 for the resolution of problems and issues.
