Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing clear instructions and support throughout their shifts. Schedule Management: Monitor and manage driver schedules, making real-time adjustments as necessary to accommodate delays, equipment issues, or other operational challenges. Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and service requests, coordinating with drivers and operations staff to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of driver activities, service completions, and any incidents that occur during the day. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any operational challenges that arise during the shift, including rerouting drivers, coordinating with maintenance for vehicle repairs, and communicating with customers about service delays. Compliance: Ensure all drivers adhere to safety regulations and company policies, reporting any violations or issues to the Operations Manager. Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations Manager and other team members to continuously improve route efficiency and customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field, within the sand and aggregate industry. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in logistics or dispatching is a plus. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions. Proficient in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and other relevant tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns is beneficial. Bilingual in Spanish Licenses/ Certifications: A valid driver's license is required. Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
