Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities. - Aerospace experience- Tableau experience- Experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in a role related to capacity planning and production standards- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams- Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, and other manufacturing software and tools- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that production plans are aligned with company goals and objectives- Experience in production floor modeling - GB Certification- Working and completing capital projects- Knowledge of 6 S - Experience with analyzing production data and capacity requirements to develop precise standards.- Defining optimal cycle times and labor needs and translating them into efficient, demand driven production plans and schedules.- Support continuous improvement using Lean/ Sigma and DMAIC tools.- MES experience
