As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for serving as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. You will work closely with our team to review project status and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports. Your responsibilities will include:- Oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing projects- Serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management- Review project status and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports- Assess projects issues an develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals- Track multiple cost accounts and elements of cost to ensure proper financial and operational data tracking- Interact daily with operational and functional support teams and have exposure to project planning and management. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start. 4 years of US Government or military experience, Project Management and/or Cost Account Management skills within a Government Contract. Small team leadership. Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Demonstrated time management skills in a dynamic environment with competing priorities. Ideal candidates will have experience working within the SOF GLSS environment. Experience working under a DoD contract is a plus. Candidate must be able to work well with task order managers and functional staff as well as US Government customers. Project Management and / or Cost Accounting training is a plus. Ability to travel within the continental United States is required. Understanding and experience in project planning and management (either through work experience or education). Understanding and experience in cost accounting (either through work experience or education). Knowledge of risk management and understanding of the value of identifying and managing project risk. Good interpersonal communication and developing skill level for formal presentations. Experience working within a cross-functional team or integrated product team (IPT). Demonstrated success in an environment that is extremely fast paced and demanding. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance and must have an interim secret clearance prior to starting.
