Assist with MRU (Manufacturing Reference Units) unit teardown activities, including part identification, labeling, and condition documentation under supervision. Support development, review, and revision of MRU work instructions, teardown guides, and rebuild procedures. Capture as-built configurations, photos, and key process details to support standardization and traceability. Assist manufacturing engineers and technicians during MRU rebuild, reassembly, and basic validation activities. Help organize tooling, fixtures, and parts kits required for MRU teardown and rebuild activities. Support basic inspection and verification steps to ensure rebuilt MR - Us meet defined quality and safety requirements. Participate in continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, or documentation issues and escalating findings to the engineering team. Follow all site safety procedures, including ESD controls and applicable lockout/tagout requirements, during hands-on work. Qualifications. Major(s): Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Class Year(s): Junior, Senior, or Recent Graduate. GPA: Min 3.0 Technical Skills:Experience using hand tools and performing basic electromechanical assembly and disassembly. Ability to read and follow work instructions, basic engineering drawings, and use measurement and inspection tools such as calipers and torque tools (preferred)Knowledge of ESD controls and safe handling practices. Strong documentation skills, including taking photos and writing clear, detailed notes. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word for tracking parts, configurations, and process documentation. Strong communication skills and a self-starter mindset with the ability to drive work independently. Demonstrated leadership skills, including agility, relationship-building, sound decision-making, and resilience.
