Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non-technical, and clerical functions. EXPERIENCE: Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required. Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred. EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. LICENSURE: ASCP certification is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to read and write necessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, IF - Us and complete required documentation. Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments and complete count sheets are required. Basic computer, problem-solving and good communication skills are required.
