Education, Skillset & Experience Requirements: 10 years in engineering, architecture, or technical leadership roles and related experience with advanced analytics capabilities. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience considered. Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, life sciences, financial services) with knowledge of compliance, privacy, and ethical AI frameworks. Experience with tools such as ADO, Jira, Confluence, and other agile project management and collaboration tools is highly desirable. Deep fluency in on-premises and cloud architectures, data platforms, AI technologies, and modern engineering patterns. Strong familiarity with enterprise governance processes—including security reviews, privacy assessments, and model risk controls—and hands-on experience designing both on-prem and cloud-based solutions. Robust understanding of AI SDLC governance, including data sourcing, model development, validation and testing, fairness and bias evaluation, security and privacy review, deployment, monitoring (drift, quality, performance), and deprecation/retirement processes. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across enterprise functions. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear technical and strategic presentations to executives and cross-functional partners. Experience governing vendor technologies, including contract evaluation, technical due diligence, and ensuring platform interoperability. Strong financial acumen in cloud cost optimization, AI model cost management, and valuation tracking.
