The Cook I prepares high-quality menu items while maintaining consistency, presentation, and food safety standards. This role is responsible for executing recipes, supporting kitchen operations, and ensuring an efficient and organized work environment in a fast-paced culinary setting. What You Will Do. Prepare menu items with consistency and quality, following standard recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines. Complete mise en place and set up station for service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Prepare food items in advance based on forecasted needs, minimizing waste and overproduction. Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment safely and properly. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of all food items in compliance with food safety standards. Monitor inventory levels, communicate shortages, and support cost control and waste reduction efforts. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with health and safety standards. Work collaboratively and professionally with team members and leadership. What You Bring. Minimum of 4 years of culinary or related experience, with strong foundational cooking knowledge. Culinary education or equivalent experience preferred. Ability to follow recipes and execute dishes with consistency and attention to detail. Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques. Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards. What We Offer.
