The Administrative and Enrollment Coordinator handles the administrative needs of the Education Abroad Office and ensures the effectiveness of daily operations of the EAO front desk, including scheduling, customer service, data entry, documentation, records management, and various other tasks and projects. Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience Typically holds a high school diploma or GED. Requires no prior work experience. Required Certification, Licensure/ Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications Experience living, working, or studying abroad Experience in relevant fields such as study abroad, international education, and education Strong independent judgment, planning, and decision-making skills Exceptional attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, tactfully with individuals at all levels Ability and discipline to handle confidential and personal information with discretion Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Strong written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills Strong computer skills Job Duties Job Duty Customer Service: Maintains the primary presence at the EAO front desk. Responsible for handling telephone calls, general email inquiries, walk-in traffic, scheduling student appointments, completing visa letters, and assisting students as well as office staff. Develops and maintains a working knowledge of education abroad procedures and handles routine inquiries from students, parents, faculty, and staff, escalating them to the appropriate staff as needed. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 50 Job Duty Administrative Support: Provides administrative support for education abroad applicants. Assists EAO staff with related administrative duties, such as pre-departure orientation, workshops, marketing events and application processes. Maintains space reservations for events. Assists other staff with other projects and tasks as assigned. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 25 Job Duty Enrollment Support: Under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Enrollment and Operations, assists with application and form approvals in education abroad database and assists with follow-up communications with students. Also provides back-up support for uploading education abroad approval forms and transcripts and other information for INTL placeholder and insurance enrollments to university systems.
