Attendance. Regular attendance is required. Education and/or Experience. Education. Required: High school diploma or GED - Preferred: Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in non-engineering science, math, or business. Note: Certain client projects or contractual requirements may require an Associate or Bachelor’s degree. Experience 0–1 year of experience in power distribution engineering, electrical craft work, or GIS/ CAD-related work. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations. None required. On-the-Job Training. Training includes a combination of job shadowing, classroom instruction, and interaction with experienced employees during the first year. Language Skills. Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals and operational documentation. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community. Mathematical Skills. Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret spreadsheets. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts. Reasoning Ability. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated instructions. Ability to handle standardized situations with limited variables. Other Skills and Abilities.
