Provides oversight of assigned analysts, project managers, applications trainers and other roles in. Clinical Applications department as appropriate. Contributes to the agency’s strategic plan for implementation of clinical applications, including the. EHR and the CRM. Oversees assigned clinical application implementation, configuration, customization andgovernance in collaboration with IT and clinical operations. Partners with Clinical Operations and other key stakeholders to identify, document, and improveclinical workflows, business processes, and system functionalities. Oversees system configurations, upgrades, testing, and data validation efforts for assigned clinical applications to ensure continuity and compliance. Ensures clinical applications align with regulatory, billing, and reporting requirements (e.g., Medi-Cal, HIPAA, CMS, and county-specific standards). Coordinates and leads multidisciplinary workgroups to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to system use and process efficiency. Directs development of training tools, user guides, instruction manuals and business processes to improve employee adoption and utilization of systems. Analyzes business and clinical processes to identify areas for automation, standardization, or workflow redesign. Supervises analysts, project managers, trainers and other roles as appropriateSupports leadership in strategic planning, vendor selection, budgeting, and system evaluation. Qualifications Master’s degree (MA/ MS/ MSW/ MBA/ MPH) in social work, behavioral healthcare, healthinformation management, healthcare administration, public health, information systems, or a related field and (6) six or more years of relevant experience required, including (1) one year in a management or director-level role. Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Netsmart, Welligent, Smart. Care, EPIC, Cerner, or other behavioral health platforms) required. Familiarity with Medi-Cal and behavioral health documentation, billing, and compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale system implementations or optimizations. Experience in clinical workflow redesign, process mapping, or business process improvement. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage system data, reporting, and performance metrics. Excellent communication, project management, and team leadership skills. Commitment to mission-driven, trauma-informed, and equity-centered care delivery.
