Role Overview. As the Principal Program Manager for NPI (New Product Introduction) Dev-to-Dev Integration, you will be the primary orchestrator between siloed engineering squads, platform teams, and DevOps. Your mission is to ensure that every new product launch is technically harmonious with our existing ecosystem. You will move beyond high-level timelines to manage the deep technical handshakes and cross-service dependencies that allow our products to function as a unified platform. Key Responsibilities 1. Cross-Functional Technical Orchestration. Lead the "Dev-to-Dev" integration strategy for all New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring that upstream and downstream engineering teams are aligned on technical requirements. Map complex technical dependencies across microservices, shared libraries, and infrastructure components to prevent "integration debt" at launch. Facilitate technical discovery and design review sessions to define technical architecture , data flow and overall technical design between new and existing services .. NPI Lifecycle Management. Develop and maintain the integrated technical roadmap for new products, from early architectural design through to Alpha/ Beta and General Availability (GA). Drive "Ready for Dev" checkpoints, ensuring that architectural blueprints and technical specifications are validated by all impacted engineering teams before coding begins. Manage the technical cutover and migration plans for launches that involve deprecating or upgrading legacy integrations .. Risk Mitigation & Problem Solving. Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks that arise when two disparate engineering domains collide. Act as the final escalation point for cross-team technical conflicts, driving data-driven decisions on trade-offs between speed-to-market and architectural purity. Proactively manage risks related to system scalability, latency, and security during the integration of new features .. Governance & Process Improvement. Standardize the "Integration Playbook" for NP - Is, creating repeatable templates for technical documentation, testing protocols, and deployment syncs. Define and track KPIs for integration success across cross-functional workstreams. Qualifications Qualifications. Experience: 12 years of Program Management experience in a high-growth software engineering environment, specifically focused on technical integrations or platform engineering. Technical Breadth: Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including experience with microservices architecture, CI/ CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. Communication: Exceptional ability to understand and work with highly technical teams, while upleveling the conversation for non-technical stakeholders. You can translate a high-level product requirement into a technical dependency and explain a complex system trade-off to a non-technical stakeholder. Problem Solving: Proven track record of taking ambiguous product concepts and breaking it down into a structured technical execution plan. Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and roadmap visualization tools. Experience with architectural diagramming tools (Lucid. Chart, Miro) is a plus. Functional Domain: Understanding of Q 2 C processes and SFDC, SAP is a major plus. Preferred Skills. Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Architect, or QA Lead. Experience with NPI processes in a Saas or Enterprise Software environment. Certification in PMP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or SAFe.
