WHAT DOES A SENIOR SOCIAL MEDIA ANALYST DO? Are you ready to launch innovative campaigns within the healthcare space? Are you looking to expand your knowledge of social media and beyond? Do you have a track record of creating clever, compelling social media posts? If so, you could be our next Senior Analyst, Social Media. The Senior Analyst, Social Media will provide support to the Social Media team; serve as project counsel to account staff, with as-needed guidance from senior staff. The person in this role will also be responsible for day-to-day research, social media community management, and presentation of internal education. This role is expected to serve as a project owner, understand and stay aware of marketing requirements within the pharma industry, stay current on new media developments, participate in team meetings and support internal and external client initiatives to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and on target. Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand presence and engagement. Analyze social media data to generate actionable insights and optimize campaigns. Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Create and maintain social media dashboards and reports to track performance metrics. Collaborate with creative, medical, and account teams to develop content strategies. Provide strategic recommendations based on social media analysis and insights. Conduct social listening research to gather insights and inform content planning. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in all social media activities. Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and clients. Mentor and guide junior social media analysts, providing constructive feedback and support. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Utilize social media analytics tools and platforms to drive performance improvements. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias. All other duties as assigned Qualifications. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education plus professional experience) required Up to 3 years of related industry experience Industry- or new media-related internship a plus Knowledge in marketing and advertising, with understanding of digital strategy, media, social listening technology, and influencers preferred Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment Proficiency with business software (MS Office) and online tools Introductory technical knowledge and insight, with understanding of social media or mobile preferred Good interpersonal and writing skills Detail-oriented and good organizational skills Minimal travel.
