The Education Department at Manhattan University seeks outstanding applicants for an adjunct instructor, with a start date in August 2026. This search is for multiple positions, with specialization in Early Childhood Education and Teaching with Technology. The successful applicants will have experience working with students in Pre-K through secondary school and with the use of multiple pedagogical modalities (project based learning, assessment development, online instruction, etc.) This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position. Undergraduate Salary Range:Instructor: $4,431.83 Assistant Professor: $4,578.76 Associate Professor: $4,726.94 Professor: $4,875.13
Job Responsibilities
Teach courses such as Education of the Young Child and Teaching with Technology. Contribute to the academic mission of the department through high-quality instruction and engagement with students. Deliver engaging and informative lectures. Prepare course materials, syllabi, and assessments. Provide timely feedback on student progress and assignments
Requirements
The successful applicant will hold at least a master’s degree, doctorate in the appropriate discipline preferred Applicants must have experience serving as Pre. K–12 instructional staff. Candidates with a proven record of excellence in teaching will be given preference
