Research Assistant, O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law – Georgetown University. The Center for Transformational Health Law requires a short-term research assistant fluent in French, Spanish, and with familiarity with American Sign Language for purposes of one or more projects on advancing universal health coverage and pathogen genomic data sharing. Duties include but are not limited to:Adapting French and Spanish language analyses into manuscripts for submission to peer review. Ability to deliver some real time ASL support during presentations of material. Research in public and proprietary public health databases and compose research memoranda Work Interactions. The research assistant will support the members of the Center for Transformational Health Law. The RA will report to the CTHL Director and will work as a team member with other legal and public health researchers. This work advances Georgetown University’s Jesuit and Catholic mission to expand access to healthcare for vulnerable and other populations. Requirements and Qualifications. Must have completed one full year of undergraduate education in the U.S. Must be fluent in French and Spanish and have some familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) Work Mode Designation. This position has been designated as Hybrid. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
