Employees who are required to work on-site are eligible for a $1,450 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines. What You Will Do Under close supervision, you will perform routine quantitative and qualitative observations and sampling of air, soil, water, recyclable materials, and solid and hazardous wastes, or other environmental requirements at the assigned site, and you may also have responsibilities related to asset recycling and disposition at the assigned site. Conduct sampling and monitor site conditions for compliance with environmental and other requirements and take appropriate action to ensure continued compliance. Monitor solid waste such as drums, hazardous materials collection sites, and reclamation sites for compliance with requirements Assist in the installation and setup of instruments and equipment, coordinate the timely recycling and disposition of materials and other company assets in compliance with applicable legal and other requirements and track and report the recycling and disposition of materials and other company assets as directed. Operate and monitor basic electronic equipment and perform simple preventive maintenance. Develop a basic knowledge of site environmental policies and procedures and assist or provide training on environmental issues. Participate in regular audits and inspections of operational areas to ensure compliance with site environmental policies, procedures, and Environmental Management System requirements. Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards Preferred Qualifications High School diploma or GED What We Offer You The estimated pay range for this role is currently $21.00 - $29.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. What We Require Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam. Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing. Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.
