Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is now seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Branch Manager to join our team. Assistant Branch Managers are a dynamic group of individuals that are capable of multi-tasking while successfully maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction to both external and internal customers. Come build your career with an exciting and growing organization within the building products industry! Responsibilities and Qualifications Key Responsibilities. Work Environment & Safety Maintain clean, safe, and positive work environment. Provide focus on the safety program. Ensure that their location is organized and "easy to do business with" for customers, employees, and vendors. Ensure adherence to all corporate policy and direction. Adhere to company policy as directed in company handbook Leadership & Staff Management Responsible for management of the associates who work on their site. Assist the Center/ Branch Manager in conducting regular performance review for associates. Participate in staffing decisions for their site Sale & Customer Management. Manage the inside sales function Customer selection and effective assignment of key account responsibility as directed by the Area Manager Implementation of sales strategy as directed by the Area Manager. Implement vendor programs as directed by the Area Manager. Establish value in company products and services and ensure that there is adequate compensation for this value Communication & Reporting. Responsibility for communication of site related issues to their Center/ Branch Manager and Area Manager Additional Responsibilities & Miscellaneous Perform other duties as assigned to support the branch and corporate objectives Qualifications. Valid driver's license required. Must be a high school graduate or have GED - In addition to the skills and abilities noted above, the associate must be capable of the physical demands identified below. Repetitive lift - frequent light lifting. Climbing ladders, stairs, equipment - ability to access upper floor offices. Repetitive motion of hands, or wrists - ability to demonstrate product. Seeing - vision skills, reading and writing skills. Talking - verbal skills. Amount of time sitting up or standing in place - may alternate and move about. Stoop or bend - occasionally as needed to access files, records, or products. Hearing - must be able to hear back up alarms, customer horns, etc. and communicate with co-workers and others in person and via telephone
