Land Use Services- Code Enforcement Division is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Land Use Administrative Support Specialist - to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple administrative responsibilities efficiently. This position plays a key role in supporting the Department's operations through documentation, data management, and collaborative team work. Key Responsibilities:Communicate effectively through email, phone, and in-person interactions. Prepare, format, and edit documents, reports, and presentations. Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized digital records and database. Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism. Work independently on assigned tasks and contribute effectively in team environments. Utilize Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, to support reporting and administrative tasks. Minimum Requirements
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong research skills. Familiarity with Land Use terminology
Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative or support role. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong Organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communications abilities. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Some experience in Planning, Building and Safety or closely related field.
