Performance Improvement Specialist Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $41.12 - $61.68 per hour - Full Time, Days Boulder Community Health is seeking a Performance Improvement Specialist who will support quality and performance improvement initiatives, patient safety, regulatory, and support evidence-based practices. The position will also support the development of a culture of continuous improvement within the organization and facilitate organizational performance improvement events. Leads and facilitates clinical and/or operational process improvement initiatives across the organization using clinical/process improvement methodologies, project management strategies, leadership, and change management skills to achieve outcome improvements. Collaborates with staff, leadership, and patients in multidisciplinary teams to strategize, develop and achieve goals for improving the delivery of consistently safe, effective, efficient, patient-centered, timely and equitable care. Experience Minimum 5 years experience working in a healthcare setting required. Minimum 3 years experience in healthcare quality improvement required. Evidence of relevant education/training in the areas of Lean, performance improvement, change management and/or project management Responsibilities: Conducts education and training in support of Performance Improvement methodologies. Develops and adheres to standard work to attain future state goals for assigned Improvement Projects. Ensures and promotes adherence Performance Improvement established standard work for RIE Activities across the organization to include, but not limited to, event preparation, A 3 review, employment engagement, participant surveys and other event-related tasks.
