Our summer internship program is designed to give you meaningful ownership, exposure to senior leaders, and a front-row seat to how a global, consumer-focused company operates. As a Tempur Brand Accessories intern, you will:Work on a clearly defined project with real business impact—not busy work. Partner with experienced leaders who will coach and invest in your growth. Gain exposure to how strategy, operations, finance, marketing, HR, legal, and supply chain come together in a global organization. Deliver a final presentation and handoff to business leaders at the end of the summer. We’re looking for curious, driven students who want to learn fast and contribute meaningfully. We’re also looking for an intern with Textile Engineering or Fashion Design background, who is detail oriented with a strong aesthetic eye. Experience with pattern making and technical textiles a plus. The intern will spend Summer 2027 working out of the world class Trinity, NC development center, helping to accelerate product development efforts while establishing improved processes. Day to Day Tasks:Shadow accessories development team across supplier development, brand/merchandising, aesthetic design, textile specification work. Support sample management between suppliers and the internal teams. Create an organized system for tracking and logging samples, the subsequent test data and next steps, and the creation of final product specifications. Support product fit testing, sizing, and pattern rework. Project Charter:Creating and implementing a structured system to track incoming samples (fabric, covers, cores, finished goods), testing submissions, and subsequent actions or disposition. This system will be developed with buy-in and active adoption from key cross-functional stakeholders, improving speed, organization, and accountability across the accessories development process. Program Details. Duration: 10–12 weeks during the summer. Schedule: 40 hours per week ($25 per hour)Format: Project-based assignments with defined deliverables.
