Role Summary. The Overnight Operator supports food manufacturing operations on our overnight shift. This position works four 10-hour days on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shift schedule. Operators oversee equipment, prepare production runs, and maintain safety and quality standards in a cold environment and other manufacturing conditions. What You’ll Do. Operate, monitor, and assist with production equipment used for drying, freezing, grinding, sifting, boxing, and packaging. Perform equipment setup, sanitation, minor adjustments, and production changeovers during overnight operations. Follow General Manufacturing Procedures (GM - Ps), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), (Critical Control Point) CCP checks, and Lock Out/ Tag Out procedures to maintain food safety and workplace safety standards. Complete cleaning and sanitation tasks using pressure hoses, chemicals, and production tools in a cold environment. Support team production goals by maintaining attendance, communicating professionally, and assisting with continuous improvement efforts. What You’ll Bring. At least six months of manufacturing or production experience preferred. Ability to work overnight shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday schedule with 10 hour days. Comfort working in cold, dusty, wet, hot, or loud production environments. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and pushing equipment.
