We are seeking a highly motivated AI Engineering Intern with a passion for artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data-driven development. You will work alongside our Mass. DOT Technology division’s AI Engineering team to design, build, and deploy AI/ ML applications and data pipelines using AWS services. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience applying machine learning and AI techniques in a cloud-native environment. Duties and Responsibilities. AI & Machine Learning Responsibilities. Develop and fine-tune large language models (LL - Ms) and other machine learning models using AWS tools such as Bedrock, Sage. Maker, Kendra, Lambda, and Deep Learning AM - Is. Assist in the design and deployment of AI/ ML-powered applications and intelligent automation workflows. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings with cross-functional teams. Research emerging AI/ ML techniques and support experimentation and documentation of findings Cross-Functional & Application Support Responsibilities. Collaborate with stakeholders and application owners to gather and define business and technical requirements. Analyze existing workflows, identify opportunities for automation or improvement, and contribute to gap analyses. Assist with the development of project work plans, estimates, deliverables, and documentation. Create case scenarios and participate in the user acceptance testing (UAT) process. Document support tickets and ensure timely communication with business and IT stakeholders. Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and leadership to manage system enhancements and troubleshoot issues. Maintain clear documentation of current and future state system processes. Preferred Qualifications. Ability to define, manage and exceed customer expectations. Strong intellectual curiosity and capacity for professional growth. Perform with a strong sense of urgency. Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. High level of professionalism and focus on quality. Familiarity with Web and SAAS cloud applications and configuration. Proficient with Microsoft Office with strong Word and Excel skills. Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills. Ability to effectively communicate and build consensus across various project stakeholders including, IT management, business customers and other IT colleagues and team members. Pre-Hire Process.
