Through acquired business expertise, safely produce a superior product while successfully contributing to the achievement of line/team and company goals. 2nd Shift hours are 3:00 PM-11:30 PM Weekend and overtime work will be required based on production and operational needs. Days of Week Scheduled (Monday through Saturday) May be subject to change based on operations and business necessity. Starting pay $23.47 per hour. After six months, pay increase to $26.08 per hour. $1.25/hour shift differential between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Safely set up, inspect and verify equipment for all start ups, run time, changeovers and shutdowns. Perform all procedures in CIP, Panel Board, Batching and Culture Tank duties in accordance with established standards. Conduct and verify equipment adjustments. Evaluate issues and using business expertise, develop solutions and implement action plans. 2. Use established product specification and standard operating procedures to set up and operate lines, tanks, equipment, prepare mix, and conduct quality inspections during specified stages of processing including the use of established forms and SAP business software. Troubleshoot and correct processing issues. 3. Duties to include washing and set up of lines and tanks for CIP, transferring bulk dairy products (raw milk, condense skim and cream), receiving bulk chemicals, making yogurt mix and pasteurizing the mix, ensuring that production lines are supplied with product. 4. Verify work areas are set up to begin sanitation process; schedule and initiate clean in place (CIP) process. Direct and perform equipment sanitation and clean out of place (COP) duties in accordance with standard operating procedures. 5. Consistently work to achieve goals that align with the company strategies. Demonstrate business expertise, build positive business partnerships and assist in developing continued process improvement plans. 6. Shall be responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring. Qualifications and Experience Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Experience in food manufacturing or preparation. This position requires regular and prompt attendance during the working hours scheduled by the Department Manager. Must be able to pass post offer Drug and Background check Must lift up to 60 lbs.
