Promptly respond to maintenance calls by attending to spills, breaks, clogged drains, etc. Operate cardboard and plastic baler and compactors, load pallets and recyclables onto trailers. Keep an organized, well-stocked and simplified supply room and maintenance stations, ensure supplies are available to quickly answer maintenance calls. Work independently to complete all assigned tasks which include cleaning and restocking restrooms, vacuuming carpets, sweeping floors, emptying garbage cans, cleaning offices, maintenance of conference rooms, breakrooms and other jobs to be determined by facility needs. Cleaning warehouse isles & loading docks; separation and organization of warehouse assets such as pallets, totes, trays, etc. Properly use equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts and floor scrubbers. Handle products, keep accurate logs, follow sanitation practices in accordance with food and human safety guidelines, SSOP’s, Simplification 5 S procedures, comply with Wegmans policies, federal and state laws.
