Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:o Greet:§ 10 ft: be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave§ 4 ft: greet the guest, smile and initiate a warm, helpful interactiono Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experienceo End every guest transaction with a sincere thank youo Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitudeo Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience - Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task. - Engage with guests to capture and fulfill their customized Deli order. - Execute food and beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing and storing reserve product. - Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards. - Produce, package and label items to specifications on production cards and follow specific department routines to drive sales, instocks and profitability. - Follow all food safety requirements, including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items, as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures. - Locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures. - Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales. - Follow proper perishable inventory procedures to ensure an accurate recording of inventory. - Appropriately use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines. - Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance. - Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible. - Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local laws. - All other duties based on business needs.
